About the Journal
1. Objectives and scope
QuantUNAB is a scientific journal, multidisciplinary, open access, peer-reviewed, with biannual periodicity.
The journal aims to serve as a common platform for researchers and professionals from the public or private sectors, fostering cooperation between them to contribute to innovation and knowledge development.
The scientific journal QuantUNAB encourages the publication of researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate thesis, as well as professionals interested in obtaining in-depth knowledge.
2. Frequency
The scientific journal QuantUNAB, has a biannual periodicity.
3. Open access policy
QuantUNAB provides free and immediate access to its contents under the principle of making research freely available to the public, which fosters a greater global knowledge exchange.
QuantUNAB adheres to the Open Access principles and policies established in Budapest (2002) (BOAI 10), Berlin (2003) and Bethesda (2003) and gives readers the free, irrevocable and worldwide right to access information, as well as to download, print, share or link the full text of any of the articles in any of the published numbers, provided that they are duly cited and taking into consideration the copyright, established in Legislative Decree 822, Law on Law de Autor, from Peru.
QuantUNAB uses a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
4. Copyright notice
The QuantUNAB magazine edited by the National University of Barranca is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
The authors retain their rights:
a. The authors retain their trademark and patent rights, and also on any process or procedure described in the article.
b. Authors retain the right to share, copy, distribute, perform and publicly communicate the article published in QuantUNAB (for example, place it in an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in QuantUNAB.
c. The authors retain the right to make a subsequent publication of their work, to use the article or any part of it (for example: a compilation of their works, notes for conferences, thesis, or for a book), provided that they indicate the source. of publication (authors of the work, journal, volume, number and date).
5. Privacy statement
The names and email addresses entered in this magazine will be used exclusively for the purposes stated by this magazine and will not be available for any other purpose or other person.
6. Preservation
The contents of the QuantUNAB magazine are stored on the external hard drives of the National University of Barranca servers, which update their content every six months.
The journal uses the OJS, which provides the PKP-PN (PKP-Preservation Network) tool that allows its contents to be preserved using LOCKSS, which offers a decentralized preservation system distributed among the participating libraries and allows the creation of permanent archives of the magazine for conservation and restoration purposes, perpetual access without interruptions. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
